Doublemme is a general building contractor that takes charge of the entire project. From design to final delivery, including the coordination of the various stakeholders and cost management, it acts as a single point of contact on behalf of its client. The services of a general contractor include: - All or part of the project design, with a dedicated architect - Selection and coordination of service providers working on the construction site - Management of all administrative procedures with third parties and centralized invoicing - Execution of works “according to best practices” - Guarantee that everything will comply with the agreed contract As guarantor of proper execution, the general contractor contractually commits to a comprehensive service, with fixed and final prices as well as deadlines agreed upon in advance. To successfully carry out its mission and ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, and quality, the general contractor must combine expertise in workspace design and technical building knowledge with economic optimization skills. As the decision-maker regarding the choice of companies selected to perform the different works, the general contractor is therefore responsible in case of failure of these companies. This means that if problems arise on site—whether a subcontractor defaults or defects are identified—it is up to the contractor to handle the situation so that the project is still delivered on time and within the initial budget. Thus, the general contractor undertakes to cover the guarantee of perfect completion, the guarantee of proper functioning, as well as the ten-year warranty.
